Course Description:
This seminar will take you from PowerPoint basics to the techniques you will need for give a polished presentation. In the morning, you will learn how to use PowerPoint as a tool to solve your communication needs; learn how to avoid the five most common mistakes when using PowerPoint; use the Menu Bar, apply templates, edit and format text, and create graphs and tables. During the afternoon, you will learn to use PowerPoint's drawing tools to effectively insert clip art, images, and hyperlinks. You will conclude the seminar by creating a professional PowerPoint presentation, adding slide transitions and animation. Prerequisite: Using Your Computer Effectively or equivalent knowledge.
